For those searching for healing and transformation

Two nights of ceremony with sacred plants, in the hills above Barcelona.

(Without flying to the Amazon. Without a room of forty people where nobody sees you. And without being pushed into anything before you are ready.)

[VSL VIDEO EMBED HERE, 16:9]Danay's 2-minute welcome. Split test: Danay alone vs Danay and Robert.

Are you ready to stop reading about this and finally sit down, in a circle small enough that you are actually seen?

A gift when you book your free call Danay sends you her guided cacao ceremony, from the lineage her family keeps in the Lacandón jungle in Mexico.

More than 100 ceremonies held, trained with elders across the Amazon and Mexico. Circles of eight to ten people, on the land Danay and Robert live on.

Sound familiar?

Does this sound like you right now?

You have been curious about ceremony for years

You have read the books and listened to the episodes. You have watched other people go and come back changed. You have never found a circle you trusted enough to actually sit in.

You keep opening the tabs and closing them again

Peru, Costa Rica, the Netherlands. Two weeks away, a room of forty, strangers running it, and no way to tell from a website whether any of it is real.

You do not know whether you are ready

Nobody has ever told you how you would know. You do not want a salesperson deciding that for you, and you do not want to walk in unprepared either.

Safety is the real question and nobody answers it properly

Who is in the room. What happens if it gets difficult. What they ask you beforehand. Most pages skip all of it and go straight to the booking button.

Your life works and it does not feel like it

Good job, good title, nothing obviously wrong. You are not in crisis. You are just tired of pretending this is as much as it gets.

There is something you have never had anywhere to put

A loss, an ending, a thing you handled well at the time by not feeling it. You have carried it a long time and you would like to set it down.

Book your alignment call A conversation first. Nothing is booked on it.
And none of it held

Maybe you have already tried

Therapy

It gave you the language for the pattern. You can explain yourself accurately to anyone who asks. The pattern is still running.

The apps, the books, the breathwork

They helped for a while. Then Monday came back, and so did you.

A wellness weekend

Curated grass, a nice bathrobe, a playlist. Three days after you got home the calm had gone.

Researching ceremonies abroad

Two weeks in the jungle, forty people, too many unknowns and nobody to ask. So you put it off again.

"I know what it costs to choose your soul over your comfort. And I know what becomes possible when you do."

Danay
What if

What if the right circle was an hour from Barcelona?

Eight to ten people, every one of them screened before a place is confirmed. A private call with Danay before you come, a session with our psychologist before and after, and a closing circle before you go home.

  • You are prepared for weeks before the first night, not handed a PDF
  • You are screened honestly, and told no if the answer is no
  • You know both people holding the room, by name and by face
  • One day off work. You arrive Friday and you are home Sunday evening
  • The week you get home is not yours to survive alone
Friday to Sunday

What actually happens

Friday

Robert collects you from the airport or the station at Vilafranca. You arrive in the afternoon, drink tea, walk the land, and eat together before dark. The first ceremony begins in the maloca that evening and runs through the night, and Danay is in the room from beginning to end.

Saturday

No fixed start. Breakfast comes out of the garden whenever you are up. The day is deliberately empty because your body needs it to be. Late afternoon is the temazcal, a Mexican sweat lodge, and the second ceremony follows that night.

Sunday

Breakfast, then the closing circle where everyone says what happened for them. Your follow-up session is booked before you leave. Robert drives you back and you are home the same evening.

Before any of this there is a private preparation call with Danay and your first session with our psychologist. What is worked with in the maloca, how it is prepared and how much, Danay goes through with you personally. It is not a subject for a web page.

"Friday, late afternoon. The car leaves the main road and follows a track through the trees, vineyards on both sides, Montserrat in the distance. You take your shoes off before anyone asks you to. There is a fire going, cacao warming in your hands, and the maloca smells of copal. Nobody hands you a schedule."

A bed inside the maloca with fresh sheets and a mosquito net Bare feet in the pond among water lilies Squash and vegetables from the garden Danay carrying a crate of vegetables in the garden A hand resting in dark soil between strawberry plants The hanging bed under the trees Danay with corn from the garden The hills above the land under a rainbow
Two ways in

The Unretreat, or The Reset

I am Danay. I have held ceremony since 2018 and trained with elders across the Amazon and Mexico. Robert built this land by hand and lives on it. Between us we hold a circle of ten, and there are two ways to come.

Inside the maloca, a bed made up with a blanket and a net

The Unretreat

Two nights, two ceremonies, eight to ten people.

The full container. Preparation before you come, both nights in the maloca, the temazcal between them, and integration before you leave and again once you are home.

  • Two nights of ceremony in the maloca
  • A private preparation call with Danay
  • Two psychologist sessions, before and after
  • The temazcal, every meal, airport transfer
Next dates11 to 13 December
5 to 7 February
The hanging bed with its net in the trees

The Reset

Two days on the land. No ceremony in the maloca.

For people who feel the pull and know they are not ready for the maloca yet. Plenty start here and come back for the other one, and there is no shame in that order.

  • Two nights on the land, ten people
  • Gardening with Robert, the pond, the fire
  • Fermentation, bread, cacao, ecstatic dance
  • The temazcal at dusk, every meal, airport transfer
Next dates13 to 15 November · 4 to 6 December
8 to 10 January · 19 to 21 March

The process

Three steps, and none of them are rushed

01

The alignment call

An honest conversation about where you are and what is bringing you here. If it is not your moment, you will be told so.

02

Preparation, then the nights

A private call with Danay and a session with our psychologist, so nobody arrives cold. Then two nights on the land.

03

Coming home

The closing circle on Sunday and a follow-up session once you are back, because the weeks afterwards are where this holds or fades.

The long table and the fire pit under the pergola, with the hills behind
The land

Their home, not a hired venue

Most places in this world rent somewhere beautiful for a weekend and bring a programme into it. Robert has lived on this hillside since 2021 and Danay since 2023.

The garden feeds the table. The bread is his. The pond, the temazcal and the maloca were built for this and are used every week, not unpacked for guests.

You can feel the difference between a place that is lived in and a place that is booked.

Who holds this

The two people behind all of this

Danay Magdi

Danay Magdi

Ceremony and lineage

Director of Marketing at a multinational until 2018. She sat in ceremony for the first time that year and resigned four months later. She has held ceremony ever since.

  • Holding ceremony since 2018, first in Mexico, now on this land
  • Trained directly with elders and medicine keepers in Peru, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico
  • Founder of The Ankh Initiation School and The Ankh Sacred Travel
  • Has led groups to Egypt, Greece, Bali, Avalon and Mexico
  • 400 hours of certified yoga training, and a cacao practice learned from Mayan elders

She runs the preparation call with every participant herself, and she holds both nights in the maloca.

Robert Muston

Robert Muston

The land, the fire, your call

Twenty years as a film producer and DJ, including a residency at Pacha. Health problems and a divorce ended all of it, and he bought this hillside in 2021.

  • Carried 28 tons of rubbish off the land by hand, then reforested it
  • Built the stone maloca himself, before either of them knew what it was for
  • Grows the food, bakes the bread, keeps the fire, cooks every meal
  • Takes every alignment call personally

It is his land. When he tells you what a weekend here is actually like, you are hearing it from the man who lives on it.

The question everyone asks

Nobody sits here without being screened first

There is no booking button on this page and there will not be one. Every person speaks to Robert before a place is confirmed, and that conversation covers your health, your history and anything you are taking. If something concerns us we say so, even when it costs us the booking. People are turned away and that is the point.

Danay is in the maloca from the moment the night begins until morning, and Robert is on the land throughout. The circle is eight to ten because that is where real attention runs out, not because of the size of the room.

In their own words

From people who have sat with them

"It was the best experience of my life. Danay has a natural gift and guides you by the hand through the entire process. It is incredibly comforting to have complete trust in her. I definitely plan to return for everything they offer."

Izchel

"I can recommend them with my eyes closed. Their professionalism, seriousness, and the respect with which they conduct the ceremony made my experience unforgettable. If you are willing to go into the deepest parts of your mind and soul, this is the team to do it with."

Mau

"It was a process filled with learning. A profound experience of getting to know myself and learning to feel my own essence. My process was deeply personal, and it unfolded exactly as it needed to."

Cesar

"I am deeply grateful for their guidance, devotion, and unconditional love toward each and every one of us who participated in the ceremony. Their dedication and service were essential to my healing process."

Before you book

Is this right for you?

Book the call if

  • You have been drawn to this for a long time and want somewhere you can trust
  • You want a small circle, prepared and screened, not a room of forty abroad
  • You are at a threshold and want to meet what is next deliberately
  • You are willing to prepare beforehand and do the session afterwards
  • You are not looking to be fixed. You are ready to participate

Not the right fit if

  • You want an interesting weekend with a good story attached
  • You are not willing to do the preparation or the follow-up
  • You are in the middle of something acute, or taking medication that does not combine with this work
Imagine this

Picture yourself six months from now

  • You went, and you chose carefully instead of settling for whatever came up first
  • The decision you had been circling for two years got made, and it was not dramatic when it finally happened
  • You said no to something you would have said yes to a year ago, and it cost you nothing
  • What you were carrying has not disappeared, but it no longer sets the tone of your week
  • Your body tells you things before your head catches up, and you have started listening
  • You are still in touch with two people from the circle
Next step

Book your alignment call

An honest conversation about where you are, what is bringing you here, and whether this is the right moment for you specifically. It is not a sales call. Nothing is paid and nothing is signed on it, and if it is not your moment you will be told so. We would rather lose the booking than put someone in ceremony before their time.

Questions

Things people ask before booking

What does it cost?
A deposit holds your place, the balance is split into two payments, and the last of them is settled when you arrive. There are two prices, one for a place in the maloca and one for a private bell tent. Robert gives you both figures on the call, once he knows which of the two weekends is right for you.
Is it safe?
Everyone is screened on the call before a place is confirmed. We ask about medication, mental health history and anything else that matters, and if something gives us pause we say so, even when it means turning someone away. Danay does not leave the maloca during the night, and Robert is on the land the whole time. The circle is eight to ten precisely because real attention has a limit.
How do I know if I am ready?
You do not have to know, and it is not a decision to make alone from a website. That is what the call is for. Robert asks about where you are, what is bringing you here and what is going on in your body and your life, and between you the answer usually becomes obvious. Sometimes the answer is The Reset first, and sometimes it is not yet.
I have never done anything like this before.
Most people here have not. That is what the preparation is for: a private call with Danay, a session with our psychologist, and clear guidance on how to arrive. If the call shows you are not ready for the maloca, The Reset is the other door and a good number of people start there.
I am frightened of what might come up.
That usually means you already know something is there. It is not always comfortable and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is that you are not alone with it at any point in the night, and that there is somewhere for it to go afterwards, which is what the follow-up session is for.
I am skeptical.
Bring it. You do not need to believe anything or use vocabulary you would not normally use. Danay was a marketing director with a spreadsheet habit the first time she sat down.
I would be coming alone.
Everyone does. Eight or ten strangers who go through two nights like that together tend to end up closer than people who have known each other for years. Circles that met here in 2023 are still in contact.
Where is it and how do I get there?
The hills of Penedès, fifty minutes from Barcelona airport and thirty from Montserrat. Fly to Barcelona or take the train to Vilafranca and Robert collects you. Exact directions come once your place is confirmed. The location stays off the internet deliberately.
I cannot get the time off.
You arrive Friday afternoon and you are home Sunday evening. From most of Europe that is one day off work. People who have been putting this off for three years usually find the calendar was never the real obstacle.
What if I cannot make any of these dates?
Book the call anyway and say so. New dates open every six to eight weeks and The Reset runs more often than The Unretreat. People who have already spoken to Robert hear about new dates before they go public.
What language is it in?
English throughout. Danay also speaks Spanish. The circles are usually a mix of nationalities from across Europe.
What happens after I go home?
The closing circle is on the Sunday and your follow-up session is booked before you leave, so the first weeks back are not yours to work out alone. If you want to continue after that there is a path into The Ankh Initiation School, but that is a separate conversation and not one we will have with you that weekend.

"We do not rent a beautiful place for the weekend. We live here."
